Awesome winter shelter by Joe, from our camping group.

Location, location, location
Another one from the group. Michael got it right. Get a perfect location, you get a perfect campsite.
It’s OK to…
It’s OK to live a life others do not understand. ✝️
All Wheels On The Ground
All wheels on the ground to keep moving offroad!
Wheels spinning in the air are no-no… Wheel spinning in the air is not an awesome performance.
Wheels in the air equates to — a short travel suspension sending energy to the air and going nowhere.

Night Trail at Maysawa Trail
Here’s KOS, shared by Archi Jardy, a couple of members of our 4×4 Philippines (4x4PH) family, about to take on the cut trail inside Maysawa. From what I gather the trail was difficult and they weren’t really planning on still being inside when darkness fell. But then when 4-wheeling, just like mountain biking, we all know the journey is the destination.
Red River Gorge Campsite
Here’s another campsite shared by a fellow member from one of the camping groups I’m a member of. I just had to share it. Plus, he’s got an awesome truck!
Goose Point Recreation Area, Basset, Virginia
Saw these photos of the Goose Point Recreation Area from one of the groups I’m in again and I just couldn’t resist asking if I could share it here. Even though the photos only show a very limited view I love seeing how accessible the water is. Hoping one day to visit the place and explore it, God willing. Maybe even camp there if it’s allowed.
To those who have been there, how is it?

Simple Little Campsite
Here’s a simple little campsite from one of the Facebook groups I’m a member of. This tent sleeps 10 and I have to go look for a similar tent now that the kids are all older now. ✝️
A Tiny Chunk of Yosemite
The day after our impromptu family tour at Sacramento we head to Yosemite; again for another day trip.
Yosemite Valley has been inhabited for nearly 3,000 years, although humans may have first visited the area as long as 8,000 to 10,000 years ago. The indigenous natives called themselves the Ahwahnechee, meaning “dwellers in Ahwahnee.” (cont.)
The California Gold Rush in the mid-19th century dramatically increased travel by European-Americans in the area, causing competition for resources between the regional Paiute and Miwok and the miners and hangers on. (cont.)

It being a day trip, we made the best of our limited time and took in a much of the sights as we can. Sure, I with we could have stayed a few more nights, even maybe camp, but not this time.
There are still quite a lot of areas good for day trips and pray for another opportunity to visit and stay longer. I did.
